A.Armstrong Roofing Est.1976 are experts in the following flat roofing tecniques; Built-Up-Felt, GRP Fibreglass and Single-Ply.

Built-Up-Felt

Built-Up-Felt Flat Roofing systems are very economical, especially if your felt roof requires a strip and re-cover using existing deck. Bitumous waterproofing systems get a lot of bad press but if designed and installed by a professional will outlast any guarantees.
Torch Applied Felt

A.Armstrong Roofing Contractors offer our clients an extensive range to suit budget/ product life expectancy requirements - 15 or 20 year systems. The traditional built-up-felt system is ideal for refurbishments or new roofs. Most of our built-up-felt projects are carried out in a 3 stage process:- 
Stage 1. 
Prepare the deck, make sure roof deck is good and prime where necessary.
Stage 2. 
Torch apply underlay, first waterproofing layer.
Stage 3. 
Torch apply capping sheet.
We are covered for up to £10,000,0000 of liability for the use of heat.
Insurance backed guarantees available on request.

GRP fibreglass

A.Armstrong Roofing Contractors are certified installers of this advacned new roofing system. Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) is made up of two layer of catalysed resin sandwiching a layer of glass fibre matt 01914 168 848gsm), applied to a tongue and grooved OSB 3 board. Profiled GRP edge trims for a solid finish with a coat of a catalysed pigmented top coat.

This leading system is ideal for home owners who are looking for a maintenance free flat roof that will last a life time!

Rubber Flat Roofs

A. Armstrong Roofing Est.1976 are trained and approved contractors to use the ultimate flat roofing system Firestone EPDM Rubber. This single layer system has been proven to last for over 50 years. The performance and longevity of this system is second to none.
Firestone Rubber Cover EPDM

High performance EPDM systems are designed to outlast any other flat roof covering. Environmentally friendly, resistant to uv light, extremes of climate, flexible, will not tear, split or crack, can be laid over insulation boards. This ultimate covering is becoming very popular indeed.

Most of our single-ply projects are carried out in a 3 stage process:-
 
Stage 1. 
Prepare the deck, make sure roof deck is good, and prime with sufficient glue.

Stage 2. 
Lay high performance EPDM membrane bonding any overlaps with glue.

Stage 3. 
Fix heavy duty drip trims and termination bars.
